Honestly who deserves forgivness?

Assisting a terminally ill patient end there misery with their permission, you should be able to be forgave. Honestly its kind of like if you don't they will just do it themselves and then they will just suffer slowly. A doctor pretty much has to do what a patient asks. So therefore they have no control over what happens in order to do his or her job. Its just like being on life support and then after so long they have to be taking off of it and that's basically like committing suicide to someone else.

  1. Does a doctor have "to do what a patient asks"? After all, isn't that what got Michael Jackson's doctor in trouble? I wonder, is it a doctor's responsibility to do whatever a patient asks, or is it the doctor's responsibility to do what's best for the patient? For me, the issue is does a doctor who chooses to take a life, even to relieve another's suffering, deserve forgiveness? Which means, has he done something wrong that needs forgiving.

  2. A doctor does have to do what a patient askes to his ablity to keep patients or else they may think that well hes not doing all he can do. But with assisted suicide there should be a paper to sign saying you give rights for a doctor to assist you in a suicide unlike Michael Jacksons case. It might seem wrong but its going to happen on way or another. Even if its a patient doing it to them self and someone out in the world helping them or a doctor. Use life support thats basically killing someone when you have to take them off, shouldnt you be forgave?
